PLAYGROUND Family Festival

Book

Costume party, giant game boards, creative workshops... all the conditions are there to enjoy a convivial moment: play, share and experience emotions as a family.

So, are you coming to play?

To mark the opening of its new Rayon Jouets exhibition, Hangar Y transforms itself into a playground and invites you to a festival dedicated to families. In the great nave, play in all its forms takes center stage!

FROM 10 AM TO 8 PM
"Appareillage palace", build a work of art while you play!

In masonry, bonding characterizes the way in which the mason superimposes bricks, resulting in a specific pattern chosen for its structural or decorative aspect. It offers architects and builders a wide range of creative possibilities for designing unique facades.

Designed by Marion Pinaffo and Raphaël Pluvinage, this playful work based on a model of multicolored bricks is as much a giant construction game as an exercise in graphic composition.

Sculptures, totem poles, towers, huts, tunnels, cabins, Flemish, French, American or English equipment... the artists offer 30 creations to reproduce. Visitors are of course invited to explore their own inventions using these cardboard bricks.

Design: Studio Pinaffo - Pluvinage

FROM 11AM TO 7PM
"Let's play! toy library ephemeral

For one day, the toys on show will define the conditions of the game freely decided by the children. This space dedicated to fun, built around pretend, assembly and skill games, will enable young (and old) children to create their own scenario and give free rein to their imagination.

Costumes will also be available for children to play in, take photos of themselves, or go dancing at the Super Kids Party!

Designed, staged and hosted by the À l'Adresse du jeu team.

AT 2PM AND 3:30PM
"Is life a game?", family philosophy workshop

What if life was just one big game? A philosopher specializing in philosophy for children invites you to reflect as a family on the philosophical dimension of play - a matter to be taken very seriously! Games, images and tales will revive your childhood memories! Don't hesitate to bring along your favorite cuddly toy!

Designed and run by the LUDOMONDE collective

From age 7, with at least one parent
Activity limited to 20 people, subject to availability

2:30 PM TO 4:30 PM
Rayon Création" workshop for children

In this workshop, young participants are invited to create in the style of Francis Alÿs, the artist whose work is featured in the "Rayon jouets" exhibition.

Put your imagination to work and create toys from recycled materials. Cardboard, fabric, corks... this workshop relies on children's inventiveness to create unique toys!

Guided by a mediator, budding designers choose from among 3 toys and create a model sailboat, a toy train or customize a set of marbles with a personalized case. Everyone will leave with their own creation!
