Orchestre national d'Île-de-France concerts

Book

In September, Hangar Y invites you back to music: the Orchestre national d'Île-de-France and its musicians invite you to (re)discover works from the chamber music repertoire in a series of concerts in the heart of Hangar Y's great nave.

The program

Sunday, September 1 - 6 p.m.: Olympic Games 2024 - Sport and Music

Galvanizing fans, celebrating patriotic joy and giving rhythm to performances, music is no exception in the world of sport! Likewise, the tenacity and surpassing of sporting feats have inspired artists and poets since Antiquity.
Follow the Orchestra's musicians as they take on the sounds of Bizet, Tchaikovsky, Edith Piaf and Vangelis in a musical marathon spanning eras and genres.

Isabelle Durin, violin
Matthieu Lecce, violin
Saya Nagasaki, viola

Sunday, September 8 - 6 p.m.: Le Chant des Oiseaux (Birdsong)

This original program for flute and oboe is set in space and poetry by Bérengère Valour, and features great composers such as Bach, Mozart, Debussy and Britten... It's a journey through the ages, where dance and music meet, listen to and influence each other in an "eventful" dialogue. This concert-show on the theme of birds, combining music and dance, but also painting and literature, is a pearl to listen to and watch!

Luca Mariani, oboe
Sabine Raynaud, flute
Bérengère Valour, dance

Sunday, September 15 - 6 p.m.: Paris Romantique

Paris is Love, the City of Light has always inspired artists and composers. And love, whether passionate or heartbreaking, is often associated with the capital. Close your eyes and let the music take you away!

Matthieu Lecce, violin
Isabelle Durin, violin
Saya Nagasaki, viola

Sunday, September 22 - 6 p.m.: Music and Nature

Nature has greatly inspired musical composers. Come and rediscover magnificent works evocative of nature with the Orchestre national d'Île-de-France wind quintet! Chills guaranteed!
