In this interactive virtual reality experience, visitors are transported to the heart of the 19th century and the rise of aeronautics.

The mixed-reality experience retraces the great hours of the site: from the design of the airship La France to its first launch on August 9, 1884, with the aeronautical engineers Charles and Paul Renard and Arthur Krebs. Visitors are totally immersed in the history of aeronautics. In "L' Épopée du Hangar Y ", visitors can take part in the story through a wide range of interactive activities, from picking up objects to taking part in a quiz! 

The 30-minute experience is deployed in the nave of the hangar. Come and discover a 1:1 scale replica of the famous airship La France.
