Terms and conditions of sale

Article 1st Purpose

These general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter referred to as "GTCS") define the terms and conditions governing the purchase of tickets online via the http://www.hangar-y.com website, on automatic ticket dispensers and at the ticket booth of Hangar Y, a "HY DEVELOPPEMENT" simplified joint stock company, whose head office is located at 9, Avenue de Trivaux, 92 360 Meudon.

Le Hangar Y reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. The applicable terms and conditions are those in force on the day of purchase.

The customer declares that he/she has the legal capacity to place an order, i.e. has reached the age of majority and is not under guardianship or trusteeship, and acknowledges that he/she has read these GTC before confirming his/her order. Confirmation of the order implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Article 2: Orders and payment

Le Hangar Y reserves the right to modify the cultural offer and ticket prices at any time. These modifications will have no effect on the price of previously paid orders.

The following tickets are on sale:

"Park ticket: full price, reduced price, free;

"Exhibition ticket (including park): full price, reduced price, free;

"Immersive experience ticket (park included): full price, reduced price ;

"Y+ experience ticket: full price, concessions;

"Children's activity ticket" full price ;

"Full price adult activity ticket ;

"Family activity ticket" full price ;

"Event ticket" full price, reduced price.

Specific tickets may be offered for sale online and on site, and the GTCs also apply to them.

Some events are free of charge on presentation of a park and/or exhibition ticket, valid on the day of the visit, subject to availability.

Ticket prices are shown on the website, on ticket machines and at ticket booths. They are quoted in euros, inclusive of all taxes, and are payable in euros only.

Reduced or free fares may be applied to certain categories of public on certain tickets. To benefit from reduced or free rates, you must show proof of identity.

The "PASS Y" and "PASS petit Y" subscription packages offer free, unlimited access to the Hangar Y park and exhibition for one year.

You do not need to create an account to buy tickets online, at ticket machines or at the ticket kiosk.

To purchase tickets online, on the http://www.hangar-y.com website, customers must log in with their email address to receive a confirmation email containing their tickets in PDF format. The customer must choose a date for the "park" and "expo (park included)" tickets. The customer must choose a date and time for the "immersive (park included)" ticket and the "Y+ experience" ticket. Activity and event tickets are valid on the day of the activity or event. Payment is possible by credit card.

On-site, at ticket machines or kiosks, tickets are valid for the day of purchase, except for activity or event tickets. Payment is possible by cash or credit card. Bank checks, UpCulture checks and ANCV checks are not accepted.

Hangar Y uses the services of Adyen for all payments, online and on site, orchestrated through Smeetz, Hangar Y's ticketing solution. Payment is secure and the customer's bank account will only be debited once by Hangar Y.

Once the order has been validated and paid for by the customer, it is irrevocable, and tickets are neither refundable nor exchangeable.

In application of articles L.221-28 and L.221-5 of the French Consumer Code, the customer does not benefit from the 14-day withdrawal period provided for in article L.221-18 of the same code.

All information contained in the confirmation e-mail will be deemed to have been accepted by the customer if they have not contested it by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 8 days. However, they may only be contested insofar as they differ from the order.

Article 3: Conditions of use of tickets

A turnstile access control system is in place at the ticketing kiosk, and a receptionist can be deployed to check access tickets or to verify proof of reduced or free admission. Tickets are systematically checked at the entrance to the exhibition and immersive experience. Only tickets with a valid QR code are valid for access to Hangar Y. Tickets are personal and non-transferable. The ticket must be kept until the final exit from Hangar Y, as it may be checked at any time. The ticket is only valid for the offer and period selected at the time of ordering. The ticket is valid only once and any exit is final.

Hangar Y reserves the right to regulate admission according to the number of visitors, in order to comply with safety standards. Regulation may sometimes lead to waiting times and delay the start of an activity. This delay does not entitle you to a ticket refund.

It is strictly forbidden to duplicate or counterfeit a ticket in any way whatsoever. Any person who illegally reproduces a ticket or uses a counterfeit ticket is liable to prosecution. It is forbidden to sell a ticket at a price higher than that shown on the ticket. An order may not be transferred to a third party by the customer without prior written notification to Hangar Y.

In the event that Hangar Y is unable to honour an activity or event, the service previously validated and paid for by the customer may be modified in order to guarantee, as far as possible, a service in line with the customer's expectations. If this is the case, Hangar Y must inform the customer of any modification.

Article 4: Guided group tours / group reception

Guided group tours are open to all individuals representing a group of 10 or more, or legal entities such as companies, local authorities, associations, etc.

4.1 Categories of guided tours or special reception for groups

Le Hangar Y reserves the right to modify the offer for groups and the associated prices.

Guided tours for groups are available for sale:

  • Guided tour of the park with a Hangar Y mediator,
  • Guided tour of the exhibition with a Hangar Y mediator.

The specific reception for groups offered for sale is :

  • Exclusive time to discover the immersive experience "The epic of Hangar Y".

Hangar Y grants speaking rights to tour guides with the following credentials:

  • Holders of the guide-lecturer card, regulated under Decree no. 2011-930 of August 1, 2011
  • Relais associatifs, relais du champ social and relais handicap in the exercise of their functions
  • French or foreign teachers driving their pupils, as well as leisure center organizers
4.2 Booking conditions

Groups for the immersive experience may not exceed 15 people. Groups for guided tours of the exhibition and park may not exceed 20 people.

Groups must reserve a time slot online for guided tours or for their group to take part in the immersive experience, at least 5 days before the date of the visit.

The "group" rate for guided tours includes admission for up to 20 people. The "group" rate for the immersive experience includes admission for up to 15 people. The "group" rate is unique and not adjustable to the number of visitors.

Reservations and payments are made online by credit card and will be confirmed by Hangar Y within 72 hours. If the booking is refused by Hangar Y, the payment will automatically be credited back to the credit card used for the purchase.

Hangar Y reserves the right to refuse or cancel any visit if access to the site (Hangar Y and park) or safety conditions do not allow it.

Once the booking has been confirmed by Hangar Y, the group receives a summary of the booking by email and the admission tickets in PDF format.

All bookings issued and confirmed can be neither exchanged nor reimbursed, except in the event of cancellation by Hangar Y. In the event of cancellation by Hangar Y of the group visit, the latter will contact the customer as soon as possible to inform him/her and offer a postponement of the visit or a reimbursement.

4.3 Access and operation

The number of tickets sent by email corresponds to the number of band members. Each person has a QR code which will be scanned at the entrance to Hangar Y.

In the event of a delay, Hangar Y may shorten the duration of the service by the time equivalent to the delay. This applies to both guided tours with Hangar Y mediators and self-guided tours.

Article 5: Tickets sold to professionals - bulk sales

Le Hangar Y offers the sale of tickets in dated numbers that can be used without reservation on the selected dates.

These tickets are aimed at tourism professionals, CSE representatives, associations and local authorities.

5.1 Characteristics of products sold to professionals

The following individual tickets are available:

  • "Park ticket
  • "Exhibition ticket (park included)

These tickets are sold in bulk, i.e. the customer books a minimum of 30 tickets online, in a single order, and benefits from a discounted price.

The tariff discount is progressive according to the following levels:

  • From 30 to 49 tickets: - 10% discount
  • From 50 to 99 tickets: - 15% discount
5.2 Booking conditions

Reservations and payments are made online by credit card on the Hangar Y website and will be confirmed by Hangar Y within 72 hours. If the booking is refused by Hangar Y, the payment will automatically be credited back to the credit card used for the purchase. Once the booking has been confirmed by Hangar Y, tickets are delivered by email in PDF format.

Tickets may not be resold at prices higher than those charged by Hangar Y, under penalty of the penalties provided for in the penal code (law of June 27, 1919).

Once the order has been validated and paid for by the customer, it is irrevocable, and tickets are neither refundable nor exchangeable. In application of articles L.221-28 and L.221-5 of the French Consumer Code, the customer does not benefit from the 14-day withdrawal period provided for in article L.221-18 of the same code.

Article 6: Customer service

Article 7: Responsibilities

Hangar Y declines all responsibility in the event of loss or theft of a ticket, including within the site. Tickets cannot be taken back, exchanged or refunded.

Le Hangar Y reserves the right to cancel any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute relating to the payment of a previous order.

Le Hangar Y is solely responsible for the content of its offer and the commitments it makes. Le Hangar Y and its ticketing partner, Smeetz, are the only parties authorized to deal with complaints or disputes relating to the product sold or service provided. If the dispute concerns payment, the bank or third party responsible for the payment system may be consulted. In the event of a dispute concerning the performance of the sales contract or the payment of the price, the Tribunal de Paris shall have sole jurisdiction.

Hangar Y declines all responsibility for damage of any kind caused by visitors. Indeed, each visitor is responsible for any damage, direct or indirect, that he or she may cause while visiting Hangar Y.

In the event of force majeure, Hangar Y reserves the right to cancel services. Cancellation of services by Hangar Y due to force majeure, as defined by article 1218 of the French Civil Code and the case law of the French courts, will result in the return to the customer of all sums paid to Hangar Y for these services. Modification of Hangar Y's services in the event of force majeure does not entail any payment by Hangar Y.

Article 8: Personal data

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 and the General Data Protection Regulation no. 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (known as the "RGPD"), customers have the right to access, rectify and delete information concerning them, as well as the right to portability of their data or limitation of processing. The information collected by the Hangar Y ticket office is subject to computer processing for the purpose of processing the customer's request and the Hangar Y's commercial management, in particular :
- responding to requests for information made on the Hangar Y website ;
- placing and managing orders
- sending commercial information when the customer has given his consent or when authorized by current legislation.

The customer's data may be transmitted by Hangar Y to third parties for commercial prospecting purposes, provided that the customer has given his consent on the registration form he has filled in.

Fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory. Otherwise, Hangar Y will not be able to process the registration request.

Hangar Y may also collect data concerning the use of the Hangar Y website, for example the pages the customer visits or the services he uses, in order to better understand the customer's expectations and to improve the operation of the site.

The customer's name and password assigned when registering for a personal account are personal and confidential.

Hangar Y may, however, have access to the services that the customer selects in his personal account and study them in order to better determine the customer's expectations and needs.

When customers log on to their personal account, a cookie is placed on their computer to make it easier for them to use their account.

Le Hangar Y uses cookies, which are files transferred to the customer's computer, but which do not allow the customer to be identified. Cookies record information relating to the computer's browsing on the site (pages consulted, date and time of consultation, etc.) and enable them to be extracted during subsequent connections to the site in order to personalize the customer's connection.

This data may be stored on the computer until the reservation date. Customers can prevent cookies from being stored by configuring their computer according to the browser they are using.
