🎉 A festive and creative family day 🎉

 

After the Playground festival, the Hangar Y returns for a second edition of this great event dedicated to children and their families with the Grand Jour des Petits! 

For the "Ateliers extraordinaires", three virtual reality experiences, Hangar Y is transformed into a large workshop, and the worlds of three great artists - Van Gogh, Monet and GaudĂ­ - are invited to spark everyone's imagination!

On the program: creative and fun workshops, discoveries and shared smiles. Young and old alike can take part in these collective workshops to learn how to create together, and also make objects to take home, perfect for giving as gifts in the run-up to Christmas.

Develop your artistic talents, give free rein to your imagination and become budding artists! Come and celebrate a colorful family day at Hangar Y!

CARDBOARD-PIXEL" WORKSHOP

In this studio, the famous painting Water Lilies comes to life in a pixelated version, thanks to recycled colored cardboard.
Guided by artists Claire Le Breton and Simon Leroux, participants will cut, sort and assemble pixels to reconstitute this masterpiece in the form of a giant luminous puzzle. Take part in the reconstitution of an art-historical masterpiece, and in the creation of a unique, monumental and collective work of art! Get your scissors ready!

COLLECTIVE FRESCO" WORKSHOP

Take part in this collaborative art project that combines drawing and color. Everyone adds their own touch, using pencils, felt-tip pens or even their fingers! Patterns already traced on the paper are just waiting to be colored in... to do so, you'll have to follow the rules of the game. Together, the children learn to decode the paintings of Monet and Van Gogh, and the architecture of GaudĂ­, while creating a large, colorful fresco which will then be exhibited at Hangar Y.

COOKIE DECORATING" WORKSHOP

Edible works of art? Learn how to paint edible watercolors on cookies and leave with your own creation to munch on! Catalan salamander, Japanese iris bouquet or colorful mosaics, choose from a range of designs inspired by the worlds of Monet, Van Gogh and Gaudí.

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS" WORKSHOP

Parents and children are invited to plunge into the fascinating world of GaudĂ­. Inspired by GaudĂ­'s famous colorful mosaics, participants will cut and assemble small pieces of paper with festive motifs. These compositions will be used to decorate lanterns, which will diffuse a soft, warm light, perfect for embellishing the festive season and bringing home a touch of the Catalan artist's world.

WATERCOLOR ON THE SPOT" WORKSHOP

Marion Rivolier offers a poetic workshop to capture the flow of water with a brush. The painter teaches how to capture the flow of sky and water in watercolor, playing with color, shadow and light in the Impressionist manner. Participants create an accordion notebook, a veritable visual narrative. Each participant leaves with a souvenir creation.

PALACE EQUIPMENT" INSTALLATION

For Hangar Y, design studio Pinaffo-Pluvinage came up with a giant construction game based around a six-sided brick model in different colors.Sculptures, totem poles, towers, huts, tunnels or cabins - there are over thirty combinations to reproduce.


IN THE PARK:

PLAY AREA

This playground in the middle of the forest, with its large zip line, is a fun way for young visitors to discover art. Who will dare to climb the chameleon slide? This work by artist Jeremy Deller, entitled Ask the animals and they will teach you pays tribute to one of the world's oldest creatures, the chameleon, now threatened with extinction. .

ITINERARIES

Along the way, visitors will discover some twenty multi-disciplinary, sensory and participatory works: sculptures, installations, sound, olfactory and performance artworks, ephemeral works...An enchanted, poetic interlude and a veritable journey of inspiration.
